„How to properly love/destroy something“

is a collaborative performance art project

of nine women artists from Estonia,

Austria and Germany.

Some of them work together for

the first time.

The artists present diverse approaches

towards their complex leading theme and

provide us an insight in contemporary

performance practices. The works deal,

amongst others with obsessive admiration,

deadly surprises, kissing until no point of

return, inflationary declarations of love or

a mystical contact with low-tech reality.

Simultaneously, „trash-plastic-punk-song“

forms a parallel space throughout the evening.

After its premiere at LABfactory on March 24th

in Vienna, „How to properly love/destroy

something“ will be presented at

friedrichstadtZentral in Dresden on March 27th

and finally on March 30th at Flutgraben e.V. in Berlin.

9 performances by 9 artists. “How to properly ...” comes out with themes:

love triangle, obsessive admiration, deadly surprises, fear of illness, kissing until no point of return,

how to make yourself not an idol, mystical contact with low-tech reality

and poetry about „The nail of the day.“

While TRASH-PLASTIC-PUNK-SONG is forming the parallel space of the event.

Tiina Sööt

is studying performance at Estonian Academy of Arts, residing currently in Vienna and attending Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
Tiina Sööt is performing personal stories in comically sad manner using stand-up format.
Swinging between self-irony and sincerity makes it hard to tell if it’s a handicap or the cure that she has dragged on the stage.
In ‘How to properly…’ Tiina will teach us the good way to get really drunk from SUPERLOVE.
